Ms. Zendora's dances are delicate rituals which recall an atmosphere of ancient places.
Her work has been likened to traditional Asian art in its elegance and sparseness;
the movements, a calligraphy of gestures, suggest subtle meanings much like Haiku.

Global Water Dances
Saturday, June 25th at the Harlem Meer in Central Park, 110th Street and 5th Avenue
Nancy Zendora will choreograph a participatory dance performance inspired by water

History: A vibrant aquatic ecosystem now exists in the Harlem Meer. The Conservancy has put a great amount of resources into restoring and maintaining these landscapes over the last 15 - 20 years, and they host the fishing event to celebrate the aquatic ecosystem in the Harlem Meer. Family Fishing Celebration scheduled on Saturday, June 25th from 12pm-3pm at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center and Harlem Meer will teach local residents about safe fishing practices.
