		Ms. Zendora teaches a range of workshops synthesizing her interest in Eastern and Western aesthetics: Choreography, Improvisation, Movement Exploration and Inner Presence, Authentic Movement, and The Poetics of Performance, including repertory from her works.

The Poetics of Performance
Friday, September 16th from 6 - 9 pm at 83 Leonard Street, 5th Floor
This workshop uses Eastern and Western concepts to give partcipants the tools of inner presence through impulse, image and imagination. Exercises culled from Butoh, Laban, Authentic Movement and Meditation will direct mover to deeper concentration and experience as it emerges from within. From this place we will create movement from Haiku (Japanese poetry) with materials such as paper, fabric, stones, and bamboo. This is an opportunity for performers and others interested in exploring their inner landscape and spirit.

Authentic Movement
Tuesday mornings from 10:30 to 12:30 at 252 West 30th Street #4B, $20/class
Authentic Movement is way to explore ones inner reality through movement. In this form, a mover or movers move with closed eyes in the presence of witness(s) The witness provides a supportive presence which allow the mover to deepen thoughts, feelings and sensations by trusting the wisdom of the body. In this class we will attune ourselves to movening and witnessing with non-judgmental attentiveness. Writing, drawing and speaking are also part of the process.
